Shopping here was just frustrating. I found a few pairs I actually liked, but then the sizes I needed were out of stock. Like, out of stock again and again, which got old really fast.
The most annoying part was that some stuff looked available at first, but once I clicked in, nope, out of stock. It felt like I kept getting my hopes up for nothing, just clicking around and finding the same problem over and over.
I get that inventory changes, but the site felt messy and not updated properly. I ended up buying somewhere else because I was tired of wasting time. Not sure I’d check back unless they fix the stock info, because the out-of-stock thing was seriously too much.

"Not enough cushioning for me"
I really wanted these to work, but after about an hour my feet were already hurting. The cushioning just felt kind of... not there. Maybe they’re fine for short wear, but for me...

"Sizing didn’t work out for me"
I ordered my usual size and even checked the size guide beforehand, but the fit just wasn’t right for me. The length felt a bit short, and the width was kind of confusing, tight around the toes but loose at the heel.
It could just be this particular style, and maybe others fit better, but the sizing info didn’t really help in my case. I’d probably want to try them on in person before ordering from them online again...

"Price was too much for it"
For what you get, the prices were just too high, I think. I expected it to be better because of what I paid, but worth it it really didn’t feel. It’s not the worst stuff or anything, but for that kind of money, again I wouldn’t buy it.

"Heel support didn’t work for me"
I bought these from Trotters thinking they’d be comfortable, but I’m not sure if it’s just my feet or the shoes. The heel support felt really lacking, and after a short walk my feet were sliding around and rubbing. I wanted to like them, but they just didn’t end up being worth it for me
"Just not enough support for me"
As someone who really needs decent arch support, these just didn’t work for me. They felt super flat right away, and after about an hour my feet were already hurting. I wanted to like them, but I definitely won’t be buying them again.

I’m disappointed. I only wore these shoes a handful of times before the sole started coming apart, which is ridiculous for what they cost. It kind of feels like Trotters is more focused on taking your money than making sure the shoes actually hold up. Definitely won’t be ordering from them again

"Color Was Way Darker Than Expected"
I was surprised when the shoes arrived because the color looked way darker in person than it did in the pictures. I was expecting something lighter based on the listing. Has anyone else had the same issue with the color being different?

"Not comfortable for me"
I really wanted these to work out, but after just a short walk my feet were already hurting. The inside felt kind of stiff, and it rubbed my heel badly, which was frustrating because I thought they’d be more comfortable for the price. Maybe it’s just the way they fit me or something, but yeah... I don’t think I’ll be ordering from trotters.com again.

"Cheap material and no one to talk to"
I bought a pair of shoes from trotters.com, the material felt really thin and cheap right out of the box. After just a few wears, they already started looking worn down, which was disappointing. What made it even more frustrating was that I couldn’t seem to get any real human contact for help—just automated stuff, which made the whole experience feel even worse.

"Sizing has been inconsistent in my experience"
I ordered the same size I always wear, but the fit was all over the place. One pair felt too tight, and another felt like it was almost half a size too big, even though they were the same brand and listed as the same size. From what I remember with shoes I’ve bought before, I usually don’t have this much trouble getting the fit right, so this really stood out. The return process was a hassle too. I probably won’t order shoes from here again unless they get the sizing more consistent.

"I really wanted to like trotters, but..."
I really wanted to like trotters, but when I started looking through the shoes, most of them just felt old fashioned to me.
I kept clicking around hoping to find something more my style, but it kind of felt like I was being passed from one bulky, plain option to the next. The colors were mostly safe and boring too, so nothing really grabbed me.
They might be comfortable, and I get that some people probably love them, but style-wise it just wasn’t for me. I ended up leaving the site quickly.

I’ve found a few styles I genuinely like, but every time I get excited and go to pick my size, my width is either sold out or not even offered, so as someone with wide feet it feels like I’m basically left with almost no real options here, which is frustrating...

I’ll admit the exchange did go through in the end, but it took way longer than I hoped. The whole return process felt like a hassle, and while I’m glad it eventually got sorted out, I wouldn’t say it was a smooth experience.

I assumed these would break in after a couple of wears since that’s usually how it goes with shoes like this, but they took way longer than expected. My feet were hurting for quite a while before they finally started to feel somewhat comfortable.

"Wrong shoes, no real help"
I ordered two pairs of shoes in specific sizes, and one pair showed up completely wrong. The packing slip had the right info, but the shoes in the box were not what I ordered, so I have no idea how that happened.
I reached out to customer service and they asked for photos, which I sent, and then it was just silence for days. I needed them for a trip, so it was really frustrating, really just annoying more than anything

"Shipping was slower than I expected"
I ordered from trotters.com thinking the shoes would show up within a few days, but the shipping took way longer than I was comfortable with. The tracking didn’t really update much, so I was left wondering what was going on and started keeping an eye on everything just in case. The shoes were fine once they finally arrived, but the long delivery time was frustrating. I’d probably only order again if I wasn’t in a rush.
